DUMBO and the Manhattan Bridge frame

Washington Street in DUMBO gives you 1 of the most reproduced views in New York. Stand between the legs of the Manhattan Bridge, point your camera south, and the Empire State Building fills the gap perfectly. Summer morning light hits that corridor early, before the crowds arrive. The cobblestones add texture and depth to any foreground.

Little Italy and Mulberry Street

Little Italy is smaller than many people expect, but it remains one of the most atmospheric neighborhoods to photograph in New York. Mulberry Street is the center, lined with outdoor cafes, Italian flags above the street, and historic storefronts. Summer brings tables outside and color everywhere.
